Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Project Manager - Infrastructure to join its team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will oversee and manage infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality and schedule, and will coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, aligned with client objectives and organizational standards.
• Develop project execution plans covering scope, schedules, resource allocation, risk management and budget estimates.
• Manage project budgets and monitor costs, and coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist advisors.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, and lead stakeholder engagement with clients, government authorities, utility providers and partners.
• Monitor progress against milestones, KPIs, budgets and schedules, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate design reviews, procurement, construction interfaces and handover, and manage contracts, compliance and reporting.
• Oversee contractor and consultant performance, including contract administration, variations and claims.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards and presentations to clients and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in infrastructure, transportation, utilities, aviation, rail, energy, water or urban development.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle and managing consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in contract administration and commercial management, and in stakeholder and client relationship management.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple concurrent projects.
