Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager will lead IT software development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires strong governance, quality control, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, run, monitor, control, and report on projects using both waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, timeline, budget, resources, and deliverables for in‑house and vendor implementations.
• Lead the RFP process, document requirements, evaluate vendors, and manage contracting.
• Create and maintain project governance and cadence to ensure stakeholder oversight.
• Allocate resources effectively and drive the project team toward successful outcomes.
• Communicate progress, manage expectations, and provide regular status updates.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly.
• Implement quality control processes and monitor project costs to stay within approved budgets.
• Manage scope, timeline, and cost changes through a formal change request process.
• Conduct post‑project reviews to capture lessons learned and improvement areas.

Required profile

• PMP certification is mandatory; Agile certification is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT/software development projects.
• Prior experience in the airline industry is an advantage.
• Hands‑on software engineering experience is highly desirable.
