Project Manager, Language Services & Events

About the role

Four Pillar Communications is a global communications company offering copywriting, translation and localization, interpretation, editing and event organization, with offices across the MENA region. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Project Manager, Language Services & Events in Dubai. The role oversees end-to-end project delivery for language services and event-related assignments, coordinating copywriting, translation, interpretation and editing workflows as well as event logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and budgets, and assign tasks to internal teams and external vendors
• Monitor progress and ensure quality standards and client expectations are met
• Liaise with clients to clarify requirements, give regular status updates and resolve issues
• Support multi-region initiatives
• Maintain documentation, optimize processes and contribute to continuous improvement in project management and operational efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, event management, linguistics or a related field
• Prior experience in language services or events is highly beneficial
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French or Spanish is an asset

• Project management: planning, coordinating and delivering multi-service or multi-stakeholder projects
• Expediting: following up with vendors and removing obstacles to on-time delivery
• Quality control: reviewing language outputs and event deliverables for accuracy and consistency
• Logistics management of resources, schedules and workflows in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across cultures and time zones
• Solid organization, multitasking and attention to detail

Technical requirements: proficiency with project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with translation or event management software is an advantage.
