Project Manager – Nuclear Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead nuclear projects from initiation through closeout. The role requires ensuring compliance with international nuclear standards and national regulatory requirements while coordinating diverse stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver nuclear projects in line with international industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with national regulatory authorities, government directives, and recognized quality and safety standards such as ISO, ASME, and ANSI.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, utilities, and regulatory bodies to align project objectives, licensing, and safety expectations.
• Develop and control project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for highly regulated projects.
• Prepare technical reports, regulatory documentation, and status updates for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, communicating progress, risks, issues, and corrective actions clearly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Nuclear Engineering/Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 5+ years of project management experience in nuclear energy, nuclear construction, government nuclear programmes, or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks, quality assurance/quality control programmes, and nuclear safety principles.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects in highly regulated environments and work effectively with regulatory authorities and multiple stakeholders.
