Project Manager - Offshore EPC

About the role

Euro Mechanical, an oil and gas engineering, construction and maintenance company based in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead offshore EPC projects from start to finish. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and run multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and construction, delivering every project safely, on time, within budget and to the standard clients expect.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full EPC project lifecycle, from planning and mobilisation through to close-out
• Take full accountability for project financials, including profit and loss, cost control and forecasting
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, risk, change and scope control, and report regularly to management
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces between Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Automation
• Support preconstruction, estimating and proposal development for new and existing opportunities
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims and disputes
• Build relationships with client representatives, regulatory authorities, vendors and third-party stakeholders
• Track project performance through KPIs and ensure lessons learnt are applied to future projects
• Ensure all work meets HSE, quality and regulatory standards
• Mentor and develop project engineers and junior project management professionals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification
• 12-15 years of experience on oil and gas brownfield and greenfield facilities with EPC contractors
• Proven track record of managing large EPC projects in the oil and gas sector
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage; Arabic language skills are desirable
