Project Manager - Regional Site Projects

About the role

This position manages and coordinates company projects through design, permitting and construction, and leads the regional site project management function. It involves managing, coordinating and developing staff and third-party project representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines
• Manage the programme of projects and project managers in a region, and develop programmes and annual budgets
• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding, and obtain funding approval signatures from management
• Monitor progress, provide financial control and ensure quality
• Oversee special studies, initiatives or due diligence assignments
• Take part in or oversee pre-qualification and bid evaluation of consultants, contractors and other vendors
• Interface with government branches and regulatory agencies so projects comply with legal requirements
• Makes presentations to senior management

Required profile

• 7-10 years of experience directly managing large projects, including site analysis, permitting and approvals, budget control, estimating, design and construction coordination and project scheduling
• Experience with ground-up new construction preferred
