Project Manager - Retail

About the role

GMG is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Transformation Team and lead high‑impact initiatives across its retail operations. The role focuses on identifying business challenges, designing transformation solutions, and ensuring disciplined execution through mature PMO practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in operations, buying, planning and related functions.
• Analyse operational inefficiencies and translate them into outcome‑driven transformation projects.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects, managing scope, timelines, budget and quality.
• Establish and enforce PMO governance, standards and reporting mechanisms.
• Manage risks, dependencies and benefits realization while providing clear updates to leadership.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous process improvement across retail domains.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex projects, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
• Proven ability to build strong business relationships and influence senior leaders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on translating problems into actionable solutions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
