Property Valuation Analyst

About the role

The Analyst – Property Valuation will support the Mortgages Real Estate – Consumer Banking Credit Valuation team at First Abu Dhabi Bank. The role ensures that property valuations for mortgage and commercial real‑estate products are processed accurately, consistently and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies, procedures and SOPs to guarantee controlled and consistent valuation execution.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s values and ethics while fostering a value‑driven culture.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, standardisation and sustainability of valuation processes.
• Supervise preparation of timely TAT reports and other required documentation.
• Provide support for escalations and disputes raised by the Mortgages Real Estate – CB Credit Valuation business.
• Review and finalise financial invoices from external vendors and coordinate with the Mortgage product team.
• Monitor and manage controls to ensure adherence to the valuation process.
• Initiate property valuation requests with external valuators and manage the end‑to‑end workflow.
• Prepare MIS statistics, monthly valuation reports, presentations and daily status updates for stakeholders.
• Review initial valuation requests, correct discrepancies, and handle cancellations when inspections are not possible.

Required profile

• Experience in property valuation within a banking or mortgage environment.
• Ability to manage relationships with external vendors and internal branches.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of relevant regulatory and internal policies.
• Effective communication skills for liaising across multiple departments.
