Psychology Teacher for High School (Grades 9-12)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICSchools) in Al Mushrif is seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher for Cycle 3 (high school grades 9‑12). The successful candidate will foster critical thinking and a deep understanding of human behavior, preparing students for higher education and global citizenship.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Psychology lessons aligned with the American curriculum and US standards.
• Prepare and support students for AP Psychology examinations, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Utilize educational technology such as LMS, interactive whiteboards, and digital assessment tools to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum planning and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Valid teaching license for secondary education with a Psychology endorsement (US state or equivalent).
• 2‑3 years of full‑time high‑school Psychology teaching experience, preferably with the American curriculum.
• Experience in an international school setting, especially in the UAE, is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience using interactive whiteboards.
• Ability to employ digital assessment tools for student evaluation.
