Public Relations Manager (Bilingual Arabic/English)

About the role

Viola Communications is looking for an experienced Bilingual Public Relations Manager to lead a major communications programme in the UAE. The role involves close collaboration with the client and agency teams to deliver day‑to‑day media relations, content creation, and programme management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of the communications programme from the client’s offices, ensuring seamless interaction between client and agency.
• Identify newsworthy topics, stories and media angles that align with client objectives.
• Review and approve Arabic and English content for accuracy, quality and consistency before publication.
• Handle media enquiries, arrange interviews, briefings and other engagement opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the agency team supporting the programme, ensuring timely and high‑quality output.
• Maintain up‑to‑date media databases, coverage records and communications materials.
• Prepare monthly reports that highlight media coverage, activities and programme progress.
• Work closely with the client to manage priorities, deadlines and evolving communication needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of PR or communications experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
• Native or near‑native Arabic with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Professional fluency in English with strong editorial capabilities.
• Experience working with government entities or large corporate communications teams.
• Proven media‑relations expertise, handling enquiries, interviews and briefings.
• Exceptional editorial judgement and attention to detail.
