Public Relations Manager – Yas Theme Parks & Attractions

About the role

The Public Relations Manager will support the Head of Public Relations in developing and executing PR strategies for Yas Theme Parks & Attractions, ensuring consistent brand messaging and impactful media coverage across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of PR in executing PR strategies, campaign amplifications, and crisis communication plans.
• Develop messaging, press materials and PR plans, and proofread releases, talking points and briefing documents.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and international media; manage inquiries, interview requests and organise media visits, FAM trips and filming opportunities.
• Provide on‑ground support during shoots, events and launches to ensure smooth execution.
• Liaise with internal teams (Brand Marketing, Operations, Legal, HSE, Events, Commercial) and coordinate with external PR agencies to align messaging, timelines and approvals.
• Monitor and report on media coverage and PR performance metrics.
• Manage filming permits, media agreements, NDAs and related documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Track budgets, invoices, agency scopes and maintain organised records of media lists and reports.
• Support PR aspects of events, launches and activations, coordinating media attendance and guest management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of PR experience, preferably within entertainment, hospitality, tourism or theme parks.
• Strong media network in key source markets is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
