Purchase Officer – Procurement & Supplier Management

About the role

John Aluminium & Glass Factory LLC is seeking a Purchase Officer to join its on‑site team in Dubai. The role focuses on managing daily procurement activities, ensuring timely material availability, and supporting cost‑effective operations within a fast‑paced aluminium and glass manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requests, verifying specifications, quantities and delivery expectations.
• Source reliable suppliers, maintain vendor contacts and update the supplier database.
• Prepare and issue quotation requests, compare supplier offers on price, quality, terms and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate material requirements with internal departments to align purchasing decisions with operational needs.
• Generate purchase orders, track order status and ensure accurate procurement documentation.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and facilitating timely replenishment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate specifications and quotations.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to work systematically and meet tight deadlines.
