QA Team Lead

About the role

A technology client in the UAE, supported by Gateworth Group, is strengthening its quality engineering function and building a dedicated QA leadership capability. It is hiring a QA Team Lead to guide a mixed team of QA Engineers and SDETs, shape testing strategy and ensure high-quality delivery across complex systems. The team spans multiple global locations, so the role can be done on-site or remotely depending on where you live.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a QA team responsible for both manual and automated testing
• Set the overall QA strategy covering functional, regression and performance validation
• Oversee the integration of QA workflows into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Coordinate test planning and execution with engineering leads across multiple system layers
• Ensure test cycles are delivered on time and meet quality expectations
• Represent QA in release discussions, design reviews and broader engineering forums

Required profile

• Proven experience leading QA teams in networking, systems software or similar technical domains
• Experience managing QA processes in CI/CD-driven engineering environments
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor, guide and influence engineering teams

Required skills

• Strong background in test automation
• Understanding of modern network environments and familiarity with core routing and datacenter networking concepts
