QA/QC Engineer for Overhead Transmission Line Projects

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer to support high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects across the Gulf region. The role involves implementing international QA/QC standards, leading audits, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems, procedures, and project‑specific quality plans.
• Conduct inspections for foundations, tower erection, stringing, and substation works.
• Review and approve material testing reports to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on all QA/QC matters.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, checklists, NCRs, method statements, and quality reports.
• Lead internal audits and maintain accurate records of all QA/QC activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a regular college.
• 5 to 14 years of proven experience in QA/QC roles on 220 kV, 400 kV or 765 kV overhead transmission line projects.
• Valid passport with at least nine months of validity for Gulf travel.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
