QA/QC Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

Azizi Developments seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance and control across infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage and sewerage. You will ensure all works meet approved drawings, specifications and UAE authority standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all infrastructure works.
• Review and approve inspection requests, material inspection requests, method statements and other quality documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits and non‑conformance reporting, driving corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor material, laboratory and field testing to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Liaise with UAE authorities (RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA) to secure approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of QA/QC experience on infrastructure construction projects, especially roads and utilities.
• Previous experience with a consultancy or supervision firm is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE infrastructure standards and ISO 9001 quality management systems.

• Road works, asphalt paving, concrete works, sub‑grade and base‑course construction.
• Utility installation and testing (water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage).
• Familiarity with RTA, Dubai Municipality and DEWA regulations.
