QA/QC Engineer (Junior Level)

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a junior-level QA/QC Engineer in Dubai to ensure the highest quality of raw materials and finished cement products. The role covers QA/QC procedures and regular quality checks throughout the manufacturing cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and post-process quality inspections.
• Sample raw materials, clinker and cement products to ensure compliance with ISO and company quality standards.
• Support the implementation of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
• Maintain accurate quality data records and help with root cause analysis of product failures.
• Work with the production team to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Help develop quality assurance documentation, SOPs and test checklists.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and measuring tools.

Required profile

• Freshers or 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC (cement, concrete or construction materials preferred).
• Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum requirement).
• Industry-related experience is a definite plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles and test procedures.
• Basic understanding of cement composition and concrete quality testing (preferred).
• Familiarity with slump tests, sieve analysis and compressive strength testing.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
