QA/QC Inspector – Civil Works

About the role

The QA/QC Inspector – Civil works is a full‑time, on‑site position in the United Arab Emirates, supporting oil and gas projects. You will ensure that all civil construction activities meet project specifications, international standards and CPECC quality procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections of foundations, concrete works, structural elements and related civil infrastructure.
• Review method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and material approvals.
• Verify workmanship and materials against required quality levels.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Prepare inspection reports, non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up corrective actions.
• Support welding and civil interface inspections.
• Participate in quality audits and drive continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Strong QC and inspection experience in civil works for industrial or oil & gas projects.
• Solid understanding of QA/QC principles, procedures and documentation.
• Competence in welding inspection for civil structures.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field; QA/QC certifications (ISO, CSWIP, AWS) are a plus.
• Knowledge of international construction standards (ACI, BS/EN, ASTM) and EPC project environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and ITPs.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in multicultural, remote‑site teams.
