QA/QC Inspector (MEP)

About the role

A full-time QA/QC Inspector (MEP) is sought to support project quality control across MEP installations. The role covers inspections, quality records, coordination of consultant inspections and ensuring materials and workmanship meet approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine quality inspections for MEP works, materials, installations, testing and snag clearance.
• Verify that works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and ITP requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection checklists, WIR/IR records, MIR support records, NCR observations and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors so inspections are ready and comments are closed on time.
• Support consultant and client inspections and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
• Monitor material handling, storage and installation to prevent quality non-conformances.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover documentation as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or engineering background in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of MEP QA/QC inspection experience on contracting projects.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or fire protection inspections.
• Strong documentation, reporting, coordination and follow-up skills; able to identify quality issues and communicate corrective actions professionally.
• Desired: ISO 9001 awareness or QA/QC training certification, UAE/GCC project experience, and experience with testing, commissioning and handover dossiers.
