QC Engineer – Automotive Industry

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that automotive components manufactured at our Dubai facility meet all design, safety and customer specifications. The role combines hands‑on inspection, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration to drive product quality from incoming material to final release.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in‑process and final inspections using gauges, CMMs and functional test equipment, verifying dimensional, functional and cosmetic requirements.
• Identify, document and isolate non‑conforming parts, raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), conduct root‑cause investigations and support corrective actions.
• Monitor production metrics such as scrap, yield, PPAP and SPC; conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to work instructions and quality procedures.
• Collect and analyse inspection data, prepare quality reports, trend charts and KPIs for management review.
• Lead or support continuous‑improvement projects (6S, Lean, Six Sigma) to reduce variability, waste and defects.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quality requirements, perform supplier audits and drive incoming material quality improvements.
• Maintain control plans, inspection routes, work instructions and test records in compliance with IATF 16949 and customer‑specific standards.
• Provide training to production staff on inspection techniques, measurement systems and quality awareness.

Required profile

• Experience in quality control or assurance within an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of measurement techniques, engineering drawings and automotive quality standards.
• Proficiency in statistical tools (SPC, FMEA) and root‑cause analysis.
• Attention to detail with excellent documentation and traceability skills.
