QC Engineer – Water Treatment Quality Assurance

About the role

We are seeking a QC Engineer to lead quality control activities for water treatment projects. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, drives continuous improvement, and supports auditing and certification processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct quality control programs in line with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Develop inspection and testing standards and conduct regular audits to verify compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and technicians to resolve quality‑related issues promptly.
• Manage equipment handling, hazardous material storage and perform scheduled quality audits.
• Analyze product non‑conformances, prepare monthly performance reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Support welding and non‑destructive testing (NDT) qualification activities.
• Maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards and monitor their continuous application.
• Participate in internal and external audits, reviews and certifications to uphold ISO and other quality management systems.
• Stay updated on water treatment industry trends, advancements and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Quality‑control related certification preferred.
• Internal/Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with water‑treatment equipment and machinery.
• Risk Management, Project Management and Production Management expertise.
• Experience with water leak testing of wastewater treatment equipment.
• Attention to detail in documentation and report writing.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
