QC Inspector – Mechanical & Piping

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QC Inspector to perform mechanical and piping inspections for an Oil & Gas client in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all work complies with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical equipment, components and piping installations against approved specifications, drawings and ITPs.
• Verify materials, fabrication, fit‑up, welding, supports and related mechanical components.
• Monitor welding activities, confirm compliance with approved WPS and record inspection results.
• Review and maintain QA/QC documentation such as inspection reports, NCRs, material certificates and test records.
• Identify non‑conformities, coordinate corrective actions and obtain inspection clearance from engineering and client representatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant QA/QC or welding inspection certification is preferred.
• Experience in Oil & Gas mechanical/piping inspection is advantageous.
