Quality Assurance & Control Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance & Control Engineer will oversee and implement project quality plans for civil, structural and MEP works, ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications and relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and oversee material testing such as concrete strength, soil compaction and welding inspections.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, test plans and non‑conformance reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and consultants to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and quality assurance concepts.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM and ACI standards.
• Professional certifications such as CQI or CQA are a plus.
