About the role
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical warehouse and distribution environment. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the role ensures adherence to MOHAP, EDE, Tatmeen and narcotics regulations while facilitating product release and shipment activities.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of the QMS and ensure compliance with approved SOPs and policies.
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections to verify GDP compliance, storage conditions, temperature records and proper segregation of products.
- Manage product release for inbound and outbound shipments, verify documentation and temperature monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with MOHAP/EDE, Tatmeen and other UAE regulations; support regulatory inspections and audit readiness.
- Handle receipt, storage, distribution and documentation of controlled medicines and narcotics, maintaining records and periodic reconciliations.
- Support CAPA, deviation, change control and complaint investigations; maintain quality records and trackers.
- Participate in internal, supplier, customer and certification audits for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Conduct GDP and quality‑related training sessions and maintain training matrices.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) – mandatory.
- Valid UAE MOHAP Pharmacist License – mandatory.
- Valid UAE Driving License – mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the UAE healthcare/pharmaceutical distribution sector.
- Good knowledge of GDP, QMS and pharmaceutical warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with MOHAP/EDE, Tatmeen and controlled‑medicine regulations.
