Quality Control Inspector – Product QC

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that all products, parts, assemblies and sub‑assemblies meet the required specifications and quality standards. Working in the QC area of a busy oilfield services environment, you will use technical drawings, inspection tools and quality systems to drive a strong quality culture.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and procedures to guide inspections.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using mechanical inspection equipment.
• Verify completeness of operations, maintain inspection logs, calibration records and inspection reports.
• Initiate non‑conformance reports for any product that does not meet requirements.
• Collaborate with site quality and manufacturing engineering on root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Utilise Baker Hughes management system databases (SAP, Oracle BHOS, Agility) for data entry and tracking.
• Participate in quality audits, material review boards, Kaizens and, when required, program or calibrate inspection equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical quality control experience, preferably in oilfield services or equipment manufacturing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Day‑shift availability in Dubai.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive environment.
