Quality Controller – Textile & Fabric

About the role

The Quality Controller ensures that every garment and linen item processed in the laundry meets Washmen’s quality standards before it reaches the customer. The role involves thorough inspection, defect identification, and coordination with production teams to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect garments and linen after washing, pressing, and finishing for stains, damages, missing items, or quality defects.
• Verify correct packing, tagging, and adherence to customer instructions and care labels.
• Coordinate with spotting, washing, pressing, and packing teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain daily quality control reports and records, and ensure proper handling of delicate or high‑value items.
• Monitor compliance with company SOPs, report recurring issues, and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in commercial laundry or garment‑care operations (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and basic communication/reporting skills.
• Capability to handle customer garments with care and professionalism.
