Quality Inspector – Construction Projects

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that construction works are carried out in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications and Inspection & Test Plans. Working on civil and building projects, you will conduct site inspections, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and maintain comprehensive quality records to support high‑quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review approved drawings, specifications and method statements to define inspection requirements.
• Plan and schedule daily inspections with section engineers, supervisors and site teams.
• Carry out inspections and testing in line with ITPs for civil, structural and field works.
• Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and follow up on their outcomes.
• Participate in joint inspections with consultants, clients and third‑party inspectors.
• Maintain daily quality inspection reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and traceable.
• Identify non‑conforming works, raise NCRs and track corrective actions to closure.
• Support the Quality Engineer during audits and assist in hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality inspection, preferably on villa or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of site inspection procedures, ITPs, WIR/MIR/NCR processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively on site.
