Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector supports Quality Control and Process Control activities by performing routine physical and chemical tests on raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished gypsum board products. The role ensures that all products meet the required quality specifications and standards throughout manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine physical and chemical laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to approved standards and procedures.
• Inspect in‑process and finished gypsum board products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Follow approved test methods, formulas, specifications, and laboratory procedures accurately.
• Record and maintain test results in logbooks, worksheets, and computer‑based systems promptly.
• Identify and report any quality deviations or non‑conformities to the supervisor and production team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and environmentally responsible QC laboratory and inspection area.
• Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS), EHSMS requirements, and ISO 9001 standards applicable to the role.
