Quality Leader – MENAT & JAFZA Site

About the role

As the Software and Controls Solutions (SCS) Quality Leader for the MENAT region and the JAFZA site, you will champion quality excellence across software, controls, and mechanical equipment that support critical energy infrastructure. Reporting to the SCS Global Quality Leader, you will provide strategic oversight, drive rapid issue resolution, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and secure regulatory qualifications and certifications such as ISO‑9001:2015, TR&S, and IEEE‑1012.
• Lead internal and external audit programs and own certificates of compliance for JAFZA manufacturing operations.
• Represent the voice of the customer during pre‑qualification and project quality engineering phases.
• Conduct daily Gemba walks, monitor Quality KPIs (Customer Experience, CoPQ, resolution cycle times, non‑conformance management) and drive operational excellence.
• Partner with Sales, Projects, Engineering, Operations and Sourcing to enforce “Stop the Line” protocols and accelerate defect resolution.
• Provide quality oversight for contract project manufacturers to ensure consistent delivery standards.
• Champion Lean, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma and Shainin methodologies and promote data‑driven solutions.
• Mentor stakeholders to build a Zero Defect, Built‑in‑Quality mindset.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality leadership, commercial, operations or supply‑chain roles with a strong focus on quality management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % regionally, with occasional travel outside the region.
• Deep process expertise in software and electronics, preferably within critical infrastructure.
