Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager reports directly to the Residence Manager and is responsible for ensuring that Kempinski’s residence standards are consistently met. This hands‑on role involves continuous property audits, rapid issue resolution, and close collaboration with housekeeping, engineering and third‑party service teams to maintain an impeccable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily walk‑throughs of all residential areas, including interiors, amenities and exterior grounds, to identify housekeeping and maintenance deficiencies.
• Log detailed work orders with photos and precise descriptions in the maintenance tracking system and follow up until resolution.
• Monitor and report recurring defects to housekeeping supervisors, head housekeeper and third‑party contractors.
• Lead regular meetings with housekeeping and engineering teams to prioritize open tickets and track turnaround times.
• Produce executive‑level summary reports on property condition trends, recurring issues and resolution performance.
• Maintain an active on‑site presence, inspecting deep‑cleaning, surface polishing, linen care and overall presentation.

Required profile

• High‑energy, detail‑oriented professional with a strong background in Rooms Division within luxury hospitality.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on, walking the property and driving issue resolution to perfection.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between management, administrative and operational departments.
• Experience managing relationships with third‑party service providers and contractors.
