Quality Officer – Lubricants & LPG Production

About the role

The Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that all quality control procedures are strictly followed during the production, packaging, and dispatch of lubricants, greases, brake fluids, coolant, and LPG cylinders. The role supports the overall corporate QC objectives by inspecting raw materials, in‑process operations, and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and perform quality control checks before and during blending, cooking, and bottling of lubricants, greases, and related products.
• Verify that packaging materials meet specifications before they are stored and issued to production lines.
• Check weight, grade, batch number, and filling dates on containers and cartons during filling operations.
• Approve packaging test results at various production phases using established QC testing methods.
• Inspect export dispatches (trucks and containers) for quality of drums, cartons, and pails.
• Prepare samples of lubricants and packaging for customer or supplier dispatch.
• Conduct daily QC checks of finished goods, drums, cartons, and pails to detect leaks or damages.
• Supervise LPG cylinder filling, verify correct quantities, and ensure faulty cylinders are repaired or discarded.
• Inspect incoming LPG cylinders, pallets, valves, and other supply parts for compliance with specifications.

Required profile

• Experience in quality control within lubricants, greases, brake fluids, coolant, or LPG production environments.
• Familiarity with inspection of raw materials, packaging, and finished products against defined specifications.
• Ability to supervise filling operations and verify accurate labeling and documentation.
