Quantity Surveyor – Al Ain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join AECOM’s Al Ain office. The role will lead cost‑management activities across a range of construction projects, ensuring financial accuracy from the initial estimate through to final account closure.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, cost plans and tender documentation in line with project requirements.
• Analyse and monitor project costs throughout all phases, delivering transparent financial reports and cost‑control recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior surveyors, project teams, consultants and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare, review and finalise valuations, variations and final accounts, adhering to contractual obligations.
• Support clients and design teams in cost planning, value management and risk assessment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of construction costs, procurement processes and contract administration best practices.
• Utilise digital measurement, cost‑planning and tender‑document software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to business development activities as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate cost estimates and financial reports.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good understanding of procurement, contract administration and construction cost structures.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering projects on schedule, within scope and to high quality standards.

Required skills

• Experience with digital measurement and cost‑planning software.
• Proficiency in preparing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Knowledge of construction cost databases and procurement processes.
