Quantity Surveyor – Construction & Procurement

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will ensure accurate cost estimation, procurement, and contract compliance for construction and fit‑out projects. You will support project teams by maintaining cost control, managing procurement processes, and handling commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs, BOQs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Monitor and control project costs, budgets and variations.
• Assist in payment applications, valuations and final accounts.
• Prepare and review contracts, subcontract agreements and commercial terms.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractor services, including quotation review and bid analysis.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain documentation for quantities, procurement records and contracts.
• Produce cost reports, procurement status updates and budget tracking reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and procurement on construction or fit‑out projects in Dubai.
• Proven experience in quantity take‑offs, BOQ preparation and cost control.
• Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor coordination.
• Familiarity with contract administration, variation management and claims.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional chartered status (RICS, AIQS, CIQS) preferred.
