About the role
The trainee Quantity Surveyor will support the estimation department in preparing bills of quantities for tender submissions, ensuring accurate material estimates and timely documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Examine tender drawings to determine material quantities and prepare BOQs when not provided.
- Verify client‑provided BOQs and ensure all items are measured and captured.
- Identify subcontract elements, float enquiries and obtain quotations.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and bills in CCS format.
- Compile necessary tender documents, arrange drawings and BOQs, and ensure on‑time submission.
- Provide overall support to the estimating department for smooth tender processing.
Required profile
- Graduate in a construction discipline.
- 2‑3 years of construction experience, with at least one year in interior fit‑out.
