Real Estate Analyst (Entry Level)

About the role

Dune Strategy, a small management consulting firm in Dubai advising international investors, family groups and sovereign-linked entities on commercial decisions in the region, is hiring an entry-level Real Estate Analyst for a permanent, full-time remote role. You will support analysis underpinning property transactions, market entry decisions and joint ventures involving real assets across the region, producing briefs that partners read within hours.

Key responsibilities

• Build property and market data behind a mandate: pricing evidence, transaction comparables, occupancy and yield figures, and local operating conditions.
• Map counterparties before a meeting: who owns what, who signs, who must be persuaded, and the family or institutional relationships behind them.
• Assemble briefing material for partners, usually a short note with key numbers and a clear line on where uncertainty lies.
• Track the regulatory path from first filing to outcome and flag steps that slip or requirements that change.
• Write the two-page meeting note in plain language, stating the commercial call early.
• Keep internal records current so questions about sites or counterparties can be answered the same day.

Required profile

• Clear thinking: reducing a messy set of facts to the three points that matter.
• Basic knowledge of real estate fundamentals: valuation, rent and yield drivers, and how a transaction is put together; coursework, an internship or a side project can cover this.
• Good command of written and spoken English, as notes go to international clients.
• Comfort with incomplete information and care with numbers and sources.
• Pragmatic approach: willing to call people directly and follow up until answers are obtained.

Helpful background (not required)

• Interest in finance, economics or politics.
• Arabic or another language used by counterparties.
• Exposure to sectors adjacent to real assets such as development, hospitality, logistics or family-held property portfolios.
• Prior research work, including university projects, student publications or data-heavy internships.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets beyond the basics, or with property listing and registry sources.
