Receiving Clerk

About the role

The Receiving Clerk supports the Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park by managing the receipt, inspection, and storage of goods and supplies needed for hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Check and count all goods received against approved purchase orders.
• Verify quality and specifications, rejecting non‑conforming items.
• Move accepted products to storage promptly to prevent theft or deterioration.
• Maintain accurate documentation for received and returned goods.
• Record daily purchases and ensure the Receiving Bay remains clean in coordination with Stewarding staff.
• Maintain catalogues and reference images of hotel operating equipment.

Required profile

• Experience in a stores/receiving role is advantageous.
• Computer‑savvy with basic financial knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize workload and communicate effectively.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and logistical abilities.
• Physical stamina to lift and handle items up to 20 kg.
