About the role
Aldar Education is seeking a temporary Receptionist for Yas American Academy on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The role involves providing high‑quality customer service to visitors, staff, parents and prospective students.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, answer and forward phone calls following telephone etiquette protocol.
- Support admissions by guiding parents through registration, logging enquiries into the MIS database and providing information on curriculum and fees.
- Perform clerical tasks such as updating attendance registers, filing, photocopying, faxing, and handling mail.
- Undertake word‑processing, Excel data work, internet research and produce lists or reports as required.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary school certificate.
- At least two years of experience in a school or customer‑focused environment.
- Ability to work with students for whom English is not the first language and a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
