Recruitment Specialist

About the role

BYD, a high-tech multinational based in Shenzhen, China, is looking for a Recruitment Specialist to manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles, from requirement intake to onboarding handover. The role works closely with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and deliver effective recruitment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, agencies and talent mapping, and build strong talent pipelines to support rapid business growth.
• Coordinate complex interview processes, including multi-country and multi-time-zone scheduling, and conduct screening interviews with professional hiring recommendations.
• Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Manage recruitment data, reports and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support employer branding activities, recruitment events and job fairs.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues on onboarding and recruitment-related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in talent acquisition or in-house recruitment.
• Proven track record of delivering full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Mandarin is a strong plus.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Well-organized, results-driven, able to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
