Regional Manager of Finance & Business Support

About the role

Sonder is seeking a high‑impact financial leader to oversee end‑to‑end financial operations across its regional hospitality portfolio. As the senior finance partner for Operations, you will ensure revenue integrity, cost controls, compliance and financial planning across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the regional finance lead, overseeing daily revenue audits, PMS reporting and internal controls for multiple hotels.
• Lead tax compliance, sales‑tax reconciliation and jurisdictional rate updates across the region.
• Own the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting and variance analysis with regional GMs.
• Review monthly P&Ls, purchase orders, invoices and ensure compliance with USALI standards.
• Run weekly credit meetings with GMs and Sales to monitor receivables and deposits.

Required profile

• 5+ years of finance experience with responsibility for multi‑unit operations, preferably in hospitality or similar multi‑site environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hotel Business Administration or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in revenue controls, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Strong analytical mindset with obsessive attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with Opera PMS, NetSuite, Coupa, Anaplan and Tableau (or equivalents).
• Command of USALI reporting standards.
