Regional Marketing Coordinator – Africa

About the role

The Regional Marketing Coordinator – Africa will be based at OBT Group’s headquarters in Dubai and act as the primary marketing liaison between the HQ team and OBT offices across Africa. The role focuses on executing marketing plans, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting content, social media, and event activities throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day marketing contact between Group HQ and African offices.
• Ensure regional implementation of agreed marketing plans, brand standards, and communication guidelines.
• Support the social‑media and content calendar, coordinating local content and maintaining marketing assets.
• Manage relationships with photographers, videographers, printers, and other external suppliers.
• Assist with the planning and execution of exhibitions, events, and roadshows, including on‑site setup.
• Travel to OBT offices and events across Africa as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or events.
• Proven experience supporting content, social media, brand coordination, and supplier management.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French is a strong advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple countries, suppliers, and deadlines.
• Proactive attitude, comfortable working across diverse cultures and time zones.
• Willingness to travel throughout Africa.
