Regional Quality Leader

About the role

The Regional Quality Leader – Grid Automation MENAT will drive world‑class quality performance across the Grid Automation business in the MENAT region, covering the full project lifecycle from tendering to customer support. The role ensures right‑first‑time execution, customer satisfaction and continuous reduction of Cost of Poor Quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy the regional quality strategy aligned with global priorities, Zero Defect framework and Lean operating principles.
• Lead transformation initiatives to improve process capability, execution discipline, product and project quality across the region.
• Own quality performance across project and service execution, ensuring effective deployment of quality controls, gates, risk reviews and lessons learned.
• Lead quality strategy for Integration Facilities, driving preventive initiatives, traceability and Kaizen improvements.
• Serve as regional quality leader for critical customer issues, ensuring transparent communication and timely resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in quality roles within Grid Automation, Power Systems or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement initiatives and strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Extensive Lean experience using standard work, daily management, visual management, Kaizen and PSR.
• Proven expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; willingness to travel 30‑40% within the region.
