Regional Sales Manager - Smart Metering & Utilities

About the role

EDMP is hiring a Regional Sales Manager (Senior Sales Manager) in JAFZA, Dubai, on a permanent, full-time, on-site basis. The role drives business development across the EMEA region and leads sales of smart metering, AMI, smart grid and utility software solutions to governments, utilities, EPC contractors, system integrators and technology partners. Candidates with relevant experience in Europe, North and South America, Australia and New Zealand or Africa are highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development across the EMEA region and lead sales of smart electricity, water and gas metering solutions.
• Promote GridLynk HES, MDMS, CIS, billing, STS prepayment, vending, asset management, mobile workforce and utility software solutions.
• Build relationships with utilities, ministries, regulators, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors and strategic partners.
• Lead public and private sector tenders from opportunity identification through contract award, prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and close strategic infrastructure projects.
• Identify new markets and establish long-term customer partnerships.
• Work with the CEO, technical teams and product specialists to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Represent EDMP at international exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
• Achieve ambitious sales targets while supporting the company's long-term growth.

Required profile

• 7-12 years of successful B2B sales experience in smart metering, AMI, smart grid, utilities, renewable energy, power distribution or utility software.
• Proven experience selling to utility companies, government entities or large infrastructure customers.
• Experience managing complex, high-value sales cycles and international tenders.
• Ability to travel internationally across the EMEA region.
• Self-driven, results-oriented and comfortable in a fast-growing international environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of electricity, water or gas metering technologies and utility digitalization.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
