Regional Tax Manager

About the role

Lead tax compliance, advisory and reporting for Mammoet across the Middle East, APAC and Africa. Ensure adherence to local tax legislation, support business transactions and contribute to the company’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with corporate tax, withholding tax and VAT filings, maintain trackers and resolve assessments.
• Provide tax advice on transactions, restructuring, acquisitions and support bid preparation.
• Review and update tax policies, manage statutory audits and coordinate with Group Tax and external authorities.
• Oversee tax accounting in local ERP systems, review withholding and deferred tax positions monthly.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation and assist with legal entity consolidation and restructuring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax Law or related field with professional certification.
• 5‑7 years of tax management experience, preferably in civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil & gas or similar sectors.
• Proven track record in tax compliance, advisory and risk management.
• Strong analytical abilities and understanding of financial principles and tax accounting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local tax legislation (corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax) in the Middle East, APAC and Africa.
• Experience with tax policy development, audit coordination and transfer pricing documentation.
