Registered Nurse (Arabic-speaking)

About the role

Royal Health Al Salam Specialized Hospital in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified, compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in line with clinical standards, healthcare policies and Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH) regulations. The nurse reports to the Nursing Supervisor, Head Nurse or Nurse Manager and works full time, with shift duties where applicable.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions, record vital signs and identify changes in clinical status
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patients' responses to treatment
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures and clinical interventions within the nurse's scope of practice
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, nursing notes and medical records
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, health management and discharge instructions
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols, including hand hygiene and PPE use
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure safe handling, storage and disposal of medical supplies and clinical waste
• Protect patient confidentiality and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; report incidents and medication errors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or other recognized nursing qualification meeting UAE Professional Qualification Requirements
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi nursing license or eligibility to obtain it
• Relevant clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, home healthcare or similar setting
• Proficiency in English and Arabic
• Ability to work in a multicultural healthcare environment

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required
• Patient assessment, medication administration, infection control and nursing documentation
• Excellent communication, organizational and clinical assessment skills
