About the role

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse III to join its Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This senior nursing role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to critically ill newborns and supporting their families in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced, individualized nursing care to critically ill neonates.
• Perform complex assessments, continuous monitoring, and timely escalation of care.
• Support neonatal procedures and manage high‑risk clinical situations.
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead by example, mentor junior nurses, and deliver on‑the‑job training.
• Participate in scheduling, staff development, quality‑improvement initiatives, and audits.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation, patient safety, and family‑centred care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience in NICU, ICU, or acute neonatal care.
• Valid nursing license and eligibility for DOH/DHA licensure.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical‑thinking, and strong communication skills.
