About the role

Cosmesurge BAS Mall in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Registered Nurse. The nurse works within their scope of practice, putting the health, wellbeing and safety of patients first, and provides and coordinates patient care while educating patients and the public about health conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' needs, record vital signs and escalate abnormalities, and create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team
• Administer medications, IV fluids and blood products, and provide wound care and assist in medical procedures
• Perform basic life support and other resuscitation procedures such as BLS, PALS, ACLS and neonatal resuscitation
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, and facilitate safe admission, transfer and discharge
• Educate patients and the public, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families

Required profile

• Valid license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority, with all required qualifications and experience
• Owns and manages their own professional re-licensure
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card
• Clear spoken and written English
• Willingness to work across departments when necessary
