Registered Nurse – NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care)

About the role

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver patient‑centric, evidence‑based care for critically ill newborns. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care in line with clinical standards and UAE legislation.
• Identify, prevent, and manage patient safety risks according to hospital policies.
• Foster a positive patient experience by creating a supportive environment.
• Mentor and coach junior staff and nursing students, contributing to a learning culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificates (AHA).
• Minimum two years of nursing experience in the candidate’s home country.
• Preferred: three years recent experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU and prior UAE experience.

Required skills

• BLS certification.
• NRP certification (AHA).
• Basic Arabic language proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
