Registered Nurse - NICU Services

About the role

Fakeeh Health, a healthcare group operating in the UAE, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its NICU services in Dubai. The nurse delivers high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health through physical examinations, vital signs and symptom monitoring, then develop and update individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and provide wound care including cleaning, dressing and infection monitoring
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and prevention, and advocate for their needs
• Assist with medical procedures and diagnostic tests, respond to emergencies and follow emergency protocols
• Maintain accurate patient care records and communicate with patients, families and the healthcare team
• Provide emotional support, respect cultural values and beliefs, and participate in ongoing training
• Oversee junior staff and nursing students, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience; staff with less than one year join the RN residency program (Fakeeh Graduate)
• License from the country of origin and a license to practice under the regional regulator (e.g. SCFHS / DHA)
• Neonatal hemodynamic monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, ventilator and respiratory support knowledge

Required skills

• BLS, ACLS and other LSTC courses as applicable
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, typing) and clerical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork and ability to manage work pressure
