Registered Nurse (Nursery Healthcare)

About the role

British Orchard Nursery is seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in its educational environment. The nurse will provide professional nursing care, respond to medical needs, maintain health documentation, and collaborate with children, parents, teachers, and management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and first aid to children when required.
• Monitor and promote children’s health, safety, and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
• Respond promptly to medical situations and emergencies.
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and management about children’s health needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Support health‑awareness initiatives and wellness programs.
• Help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• DHA Registered Nurse Licence or DHA Eligibility Letter.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent interaction skills with young children.
• Compassionate, caring, and professional attitude.
• Nursery or early‑years experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric and general nursing, health and safety, infection control, medical documentation, and emergency response.
