Registered Nurse - OT

About the role

The Registered Nurse will work within the scope of practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, prioritising health, wellbeing and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and offer emotional support.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop care plans with the inter‑professional team.
• Record vital signs, recognise and escalate abnormalities, and maintain clinical skills.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products and monitor for reactions.
• Provide wound care management and assist in medical procedures.
• Facilitate safe admission, transfer and discharge processes.

Required profile

• Valid licence to work as a registered nurse with the relevant health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willingness to work across departments when needed and manage professional re‑licensure.
