Registered Nurse - Women Centre Outpatient Department

About the role

Kings College Hospital Dubai is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its Women Centre Outpatient Department. The nurse provides professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient facility or clinic, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications and develop patient care plans with physicians and colleagues.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and operate and monitor medical equipment as required.
• Deliver evidence-based care in line with Dubai Health Authority guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs, and give clear, sensitive updates to patients and their relatives.
• Involving patients, caregivers and families in care where appropriate and giving health education.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting dignity, privacy, cultural and religious beliefs.
• Sharing patient information clearly with the multidisciplinary team and working flexibly to keep safe staffing levels.
• Carrying out additional duties reasonably assigned by the organization or line manager.

Required profile

• DHA UAE Medical Health Authority license.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a two-year nursing degree, with registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
